Felton

Felton’s charming downtown area and historic buildings capture the history and culture of the region in general. The oldest building in downtown Felton, dating back to 1874 is now home to The Cremer House. In its heyday, it was the Grand Central Hotel, a boarding house, restaurant, and bar ran by Thomas Cremer and his wife. Speaking of history… Felton is also home to the Roaring Camp Railroad, running one of the last steam locomotives in the country, taking visitors over elevated train tracks, twisting and turning through towering redwood groves to the summit of Bear Mountain.
