Woodside, a small community just 30 minutes south of San Francisco, located at the foothills of the northern end of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The town stretches from the foothills to the skyline where one of its famous restaurants resides, Alice’s Restaurant
. A historic building dating back to the 1920’s, now a popular stopping point for motorcyclists and visitors passing through the redwood
forests. One of the largest events of the year in Woodside is the Kings Mountain Art Fair on Labor Day Weekend. The fair has been running for half a century and it’s main purpose remains, to fund the local volunteer fire department.
